If it’s that special time in your life – the one where it’s time to upgrade to a new phone – then you probably have given some thought into whether or not the iPhone 6 is a good choice for you. With millions of units already sold in just a month, it comes as no surprise that millions more people are shopping for one for themselves or a family member. With a total of six different models to choose from – three iPhone 6 models and three iPhone 6 Plus models – you may have a difficult time determining which exact version is best suited for your needs. Because these phones are quite expensive when you buy them out of contract, you may be considering a two-year contract in order to ease the short-term burden of paying for it all at once.
If you’re ready to purchase an iPhone 6 but don’t know which plan is best for you, then you’ll want to continue reading to find out about several different SIM-only and traditional contract plans available from major carriers, all of which can be great for use with your new iPhone.
Three Plans
Whether you want a traditional contract in order to save on the upfront cost of a new iPhone 6, or you’d prefer a SIM-only plan that allows you unlimited freedom in switching carriers at any time, Three has something for everyone. When it comes to traditional contracts, we found one that lets users place down a £100 down payment, and from that point on, the monthly bill is £38. With this plan, you’ll receive unlimited calls and texts, with 1 GB of data included. The second plan includes an offer for the iPhone 6 Plus instead of the traditional iPhone 6. You’ll pay £100 up front for this deal and pay £44 per month for two years. You’ll receive the same service with this plan (1 GB of data with unlimited calls and texts). If you’d rather get a SIM-only plan instead, then check out SIM Only Expert’s comparison tools, which allow you to see all available SIM-only plans in order to find the best one for you.

Vodafone Plans
Vodafone is another major carrier, and one that has a large base of customers due to its extensive mobile presence across the country. We’ve found two plans via Vodafone that will work well with the iPhone 6, and we think you’ll find them to be agreeable. If you’re looking for an iPhone 6 16 GB version, then you can opt to pay £49 down and agree to two-year service at £44 per month. Included with this plan is 2 GB of data, unlimited calling and unlimited texts. If you need a more affordable solution, then check out their 100 MB 3G data plan, which also includes 100 minutes and unlimited texts for less than £30 per month. You’ll also have to pay £249 upfront in order to get the iPhone 6.

GiffGaff Plans
GiffGaff works well for those who already have the iPhone 6 but who want service without commitment. You’ll be able to find much cheaper plans if your iPhone 6 was bought in full and out of contract, like this plan for £10 per month. With it, you’ll receive 1 GB of data, 500 minutes of UK calling, and unlimited texting. The other plan is more expensive at £18 per month, but you’ll receive twice as many minutes – in addition to unlimited data and texting.

EE Plans
Offering dozens of different service plans for all types of consumers, EE’s offerings may seem confusing at first: this is why we’ve narrowed down the selection. Whether you are a heavy phone user or a casual one, one of these two plans will suffice for your mobile needs. You can pay £30 up front in order to get the new iPhone 6, with a £50 per month payment for two years (this includes 2 GB of data and unlimited calls/texts). The other option you have provides service for just £20 per month, but you’ll be responsible for paying £379 at the time of signing the contract. This particular plan comes with 1 GB of data, 1000 minutes and unlimited texting.

O2 Plans
Those who are concerned with balancing cost with service quality may wish to check out O2, which offers several plans that will go well with any new iPhone. If you’re planning on purchasing an iPhone 6 with 16 GB of memory, then here are two options that you’ll want to hear about. At £48 per month, you can grab service that includes 20 GB of 4G data, unlimited talk and unlimited text. The reason the price is higher on this plan is because you’ll only have to pay a £50 up front payment to get your hands on the new iPhone. Another plan with less data (2 GB) can be purchased for £43 per month and a £30 upfront cost for the phone, and comes with unlimited calling and unlimited texting.
